Spotlight On - Steve Dickson!

Steve Dickson is back with a vengeance! Steve was heavily involved with magic throughout his life and even owned a popular magic store in new West a few decades ago. His father, Hugh Dickson, was a member and holds a Wand Degree just like his son Steve.

Steve rekindled his love for magic after attending our W.O.M. in 2007 and joined as a member in 2008. He has gone on to win an impressive amount of awards.
They include:

    - 2008 Tip-Top and Tootsie Award (Halloween Effect)
    - 2008 Stan Kramien Showmanship Award
    - 2009 Close-Up Magic (H.B MacLean)

Not bad for a comeback we say! Steve has also contributed highly to the club. He has put on a workshop on coin magic,
as well as taking Jr. and adult magicians alike under his wing
to mentor them in the art of walk-around magic at his regular
gig at the Boston Pizza in Mission on Sunday nights.

Steve is very talented in the style of close-up magic and can
help make any event one that won't be forgotten anytime soon! Steve has been a member of the V.M.C. since 2008 and holds
